The Dankoff SunCentric Surface centrifugal pumps, used worldwide since 1989 are well known in the field. The solar PV powered water pumping shallow source surface pumps can be used with a PV array directly, without batteries, and do not require a pump controller or linear current booster (LCB) which lowers costs.
These pumps have a maximum suction lift of 10 vertical feet (3 m), and recommended you use a foot valve if the pump is mounted higher than the water source for priming. This surface pump is for Shallow Water Applications such as lakes, ponds, rivers, and cisterns.
